    • Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more.
    Responsibilities:
    • The RN house supervisor serves as an on-site administrative representative.
    • Will facilitate communication and problem resolution among hospital staff, medical staff, and regulatory agencies.
    • Routinely rounds through hospital departments, coordinating human resources necessary for hospital functioning, and patient care.
    • Enforce organizational policies consistent with administrative guidelines and consultation obtained from administrator on-call.
    Qualifications:

    Job Requirements:

    • Completion of education to obtain Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

    • Registered Nurse (RN) with Texas Board of Nursing – OR – current home state license is required for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact.

    • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA (American Heart Association) is required upon hire.

    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification within 6 months of hire.

    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification within 6 months of hire.

    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification within 6 months of hire.

    • 2+ years of experience within the assigned service area.

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

    Preferred Job Requirements:

    • 2+ years of leadership experience.
    • Experience with patient safety best practices.
