House Supervisor

As a PRN House Supervisor at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center, you will provide clinical leadership and operational oversight to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and efficient hospital operations. Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to modify care and interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care according to patient’s age, health and developmental status.

What We Offer:

Location: Huntersville Medical Center in Huntersville, NC

Shift: Nights shift 7pm-7am

Experience: 5 years of nursing in an acute care setting highly preferred, Experience in the ED or Critical Care setting is preferred but not required. 

 

As a PRN House Supervisor at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center, you will provide clinical leadership and operational oversight to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and efficient hospital operations. You will coordinate patient flow, staffing, admissions, transfers, and bed placement while serving as a clinical resource for nursing staff, providers, and interdisciplinary teams.

 

In collaboration with hospital leadership, you will address operational challenges, support critical decision-making, and promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence. This role is ideal for an experienced nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting patients and care teams.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. BSN/BA/BS Graduate Degree, preferred. 
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years previous nursing experience, required. Previous management experience, preferred. 
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. 
• Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to modify care and interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care according to patient’s age, health and developmental status. Has demonstrated sound and effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, good interpersonal skills, and good intra and interdepartmental relationships.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Clemmons Medical Center and Kernersville Medical Center require critical care or ED experience.

What You'll Do:

The House Supervisor will act as the in-house administrative representative and resource person for all patients, staff, staff physicians, and visitors.
