About Our Family

We're an active, energetic family of six living in the beautiful waterfront community of Tiburon. With two parents balancing demanding full-time executive careers, four children (ages 8, 5, and 2-year-old twins), two cats, and two wonderful au pairs, our home is full, dynamic, and on the go. We enjoy spending time outdoors, staying active, and exploring the Bay Area as a family

Our home runs on consistency, organization, and well-established systems. Our children thrive on routine, our au pairs provide dedicated childcare, and weekly cleaners manage general housekeeping. We're seeking someone who can step in as the connector between all of us - someone who can quickly learn our existing systems, take ownership of daily household tasks, and proactively identify and execute improvements that make family life easier.

We value professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail. The right person will be proactive, highly capable, and thoughtful - someone who sees what needs to be done, follows through, and identifies opportunities to improve systems when needed. You're equally comfortable managing the big picture as you are rolling up your sleeves to tackle everyday tasks. No task is too small, and you take pride in getting things done efficiently and independently rather than delegating or waiting for direction.

We see this role as a trusted partnership with someone who takes pride in creating order, efficiency, and ease for our family.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You're naturally organized, resourceful, and proactive, with a genuine enjoyment of bringing order to a busy home. A self-starter with strong judgment and attention to detail, you anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and take pride in getting things done.

You bring a positive, easygoing attitude to your work and feel equally comfortable interacting with young children, household staff, and busy executive parents. You read situations well, communicate thoughtfully and efficiently, and understand the importance of discretion and professionalism within a family environment. You know when to engage, when to step back, and how to keep things moving.

While this is not a direct childcare position, you're naturally warm, patient, and engaging with young children. You understand age-appropriate organization of children's belongings and are thoughtful and intentional in your interactions with the children. You respect the family's approach to routines and screen time and understand the importance of being fully present, with your phone put away while working.

Prior experience in household management is welcome but not required. We also value transferable experience in corporate administration, executive support, hospitality, or other fast-paced professional environments where initiative, sound judgment, and clear communication are essential.

Key Qualities Include

Professionalism & Discretion: Communicates clearly, directly, and efficiently, exercising sound judgment about when to provide updates, ask questions, or independently resolve an issue. Comfortable receiving feedback and adapting quickly.

Proactivity & Self-Sufficiency: Take initiative, anticipate needs, and manage responsibilities independently without requiring frequent direction or reminders

High Emotional Intelligence: Combine sharp critical thinking with emotional awareness, reading the room, communicating thoughtfully, and making confident, well-reasoned decisions.

Healthy Meal Planning & Prep Experience: Comfortable supporting weekly meal planning, preparing healthy snacks, and occasional light baking, with creativity around introducing new foods to young children.
