About the Role:Assisting Hands - Matteson is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our caring team in Matteson, IL! Responsibilities:- Perform general housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common living areas
- Change bed linens and assist with laundry tasks
- Organize and tidy living spaces to maintain a safe and clutter-free environment
- Follow client care plans and adhere to specific household preferences and routines
- Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors regarding any concerns or changes in the home environment
- Maintain cleaning supplies and report when items need to be restocked
Requirements:- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or home care experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and care plans
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor when working with clients
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client locations in the Matteson, IL area
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Must pass a background check
