ECU Department of Chemistry is seeking Lab Assistants for the set-up and preparation of materials used in Chem 1151 and Chem 1161 teaching labs.

Lab assistants are responsible for setting-up, maintaining and cleaning the teaching laboratories, and also for the preparation of reagents.

Successful candidates must be able to follow safety rules and protocols, work independently, be detail-oriented and responsible.

GPA Requirement Minimum of 2.0 Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)

Biochemistry

Chemistry

Student should have successfully completed Chem 1151 and Chem 1161.

Chemistry/Biochemistry majors are especially encouraged to apply.
