Shift Manager Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled store manager with remarkable skills, who will run a store effectively and with attention to detail.

Our store manager candidates are required to be in constant contact with the staff and customers. They need to be able to ensure their staff provides the highest quality customer services and monitor the overall financial performance of the store.

The responsibilities of a store manager are to greet the staff and customers, provide them with what they need, give intelligent recommendations and suggestions, build customer and brand trust, assist the staff with anything they need and make sure the customers have a great shopping experience.

More importantly, a perfect store manager candidate should be reliable, accommodating, courteous, and friendly to ensure that the customers are fully satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Papa Johns restaurant, including overseeing food service, kitchen management, and customer service.
• Supervise and train team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and inventory control to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Utilize POS systems for order processing, payments, and tracking sales data accurately.
• Conduct interviews, hire staff, and provide ongoing coaching to maintain a high level of service.
• Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving restaurant performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Food service management experience
• Supervisory experience in a restaurant setting
• Proficiency in POS systems
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Knowledge of kitchen management and food preparation
• Previous experience in inventory control and restaurant operations

I have reviewed and understand the information, statements, and notices in the Background Check Disclosure, the Additional Disclosures, and the California State Law Disclosures, as well as this Background Check Authorization. My authorization remains valid throughout my employment with the Company, such that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, I agree Company can procure additional consumer report(s), which may include criminal background check(s) and motor vehicle report(s), during my employment without providing additional disclosures or obtaining additional authorizations.
