Job Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
  • Support mobility, transfers and ambulation as needed.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
  • Offer companionship and social interaction through engaging conversations and activities.
  • Accompany and/or drive clients to appointments and social activities.
  • Monitor clients’ health, document observations, and report any changes to the care team. 
Requirements
  • Previous caregiving experience of at least one year (dementia and/or Parkinson’s preferred)
  • Ability to lift and assist with mobility needs
  • Patience, compassion, and reliability
  • Strong ability to communicate, read and comprehend English
  • Certified Dementia Practitioner (preferred)
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Provide results of TB test results (can be completed after interview)
