About the Role

Position Summary: The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for increasing the hotels business by conducting direct sales efforts, follow-up, and proper sales administration.

Accountabilities: The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts for both the Rooms department and the Food and Beverage Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Catering sales segment
• Proactively solicit and manage a portfolio of accounts
• Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales goals
• Meet or exceed assigned quarterly food and beverage goals
• Meet or exceed assigned quarterly solicitation goals
• Partner with the General Manager on sales and marketing strategies
• Coordinate with Convention Services and Catering on groups involving rooms and Banquet revenue
• Maintain monthly incentive compensation worksheets and lead source analysis

Education & Experience

• 2 years or more of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• College degree preferred
• Customer Service experience required, hotel experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Experience with sales and catering systems

Salary Requirements

This position offers an annual base salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
