You'll be in charge of developing our sales strategy and goals, training and assessing our sales force, collaborating with sales managers, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business from various hotel sectors. Responsibilities: • Formulate sales strategies that sustain high levels of occupancy and profitability in collaboration with department managers and their goals • Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network • Deliver previous and upcoming week's sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales-related expenses • Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast • Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives Qualifications: • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills • Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required • We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000
