Job Summary
The Hotel Pricing Analyst Coordinator supports the Revenue Management team in managing room rates, availability, and inventory for our hotels.
This position is ideal for someone with hotel, reservations, front office, sales, or hospitality experience who understands how hotels sell rooms and wants to grow their knowledge of revenue management.
The role monitors competitor pricing, booking activity, room availability, and market conditions to support daily pricing decisions and maximize hotel revenue.
This is an on-site, full-time, hourly position.
Core Responsibilities
Competitor & Market Tracking
- Conduct daily rate shopping of our hotels and local competitors.
- Compare rates and availability across hotel websites and Online Travel Agencies (OTAs).
- Consider competitor room types, amenities, location, and overall positioning when comparing rates.
- Identify and document rate parity and distribution issues.
- Work with OTA partners and internal teams to resolve pricing issues.
- Monitor local events and market activity that may impact hotel demand.
Daily Pricing & Inventory
- Review daily pricing recommendations in IDeaS G3.
- Review bookings, occupancy, availability, competitor rates, and market conditions.
- Assist with room rate changes within established guidelines.
- Maintain room types, rate plans, rates, and availability in Opera and IDeaS.
- Monitor hotel inventory and identify potential pricing or availability issues.
- Develop an understanding of how demand, occupancy, and booking pace affect room rates.
Group & Wholesale Business
- Assist with reviewing group and wholesale opportunities.
- Consider occupancy, demand, room availability, and proposed rates when evaluating business.
- Support Revenue Management with group pricing decisions and inventory planning.
- Assist with monitoring group blocks and their impact on available hotel inventory.
Reporting & Communication
- Monitor hotel performance measures including Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and booking pace.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Communicate important pricing, inventory, and market information to the Revenue Management team.
- Work closely with Reservations, Sales, Front Office, and other hotel departments.
- Follow up on pricing, inventory, and system issues to ensure they are resolved.
Experience & Key Requirements
Hospitality Experience
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in Reservations, Front Office, Sales, or hotel operations is highly valued.
- Understanding of room types, reservations, rate plans, availability, and hotel inventory.
- Experience with OTAs or hotel distribution channels is a plus.
- Previous revenue management experience is helpful but not required.
Hotel Systems & Computer Skills
- Opera PMS experience preferred.
- IDeaS G3 experience is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and standard computer applications.
- Comfortable learning new hotel systems and technology.
Personal Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organized with good follow-up skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Curious about hotel pricing and revenue management.
- Able to recognize issues and take appropriate action.
Education
Hospitality or hotel experience is highly valued. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant hotel and hospitality experience may be considered in place of a degree.

The ideal candidate may have experience as a Reservations Agent or Supervisor, Front Desk Agent or Supervisor, hotel Sales Coordinator, Rooms Division professional, or in another hotel operations role.
