A Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and comfortable guest rooms and public areas to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Housekeepers work both independently and as part of a team, reporting to the Housekeeping Manager or Front Desk Supervisor, and handle both daily cleaning tasks and occasional deep cleaning projects using standard cleaning equipment.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas
- Dispose of trash and replenish supplies
- Disinfect surfaces to ensure sanitary conditions
- Collaborate with team members and work independently as needed
- Report to Housekeeping Manager or Front Desk Supervisor on task progress
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.

- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
