    THE OPPORTUNITY

    As the Group Rooms Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding key accounts, securing lucrative group room contracts, and driving occupancy and revenue growth.

    You'll work directly with:

    • Corporate travel managers
    • Event planners
    • Sports organizations
    • Associations
    • Tour groups
    • SMERF markets
    • Wedding and social event planners
    • Regional and national accounts

    You'll own the sales process from prospecting through contract execution while partnering closely with hotel operations to ensure flawless execution for every group stay.


    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    Drive Revenue Growth

    • Generate new group room business through strategic prospecting and relationship development.
    • Identify opportunities within corporate, association, sports, government, social, and tour markets.
    • Develop and execute hotel sales strategies designed to maximize occupancy and revenue.
    • Consistently achieve and exceed group sales goals and revenue targets.

    Build Powerful Client Relationships

    • Create long-term partnerships with key decision makers.
    • Conduct hotel site tours and presentations.
    • Negotiate group agreements that create value for both clients and the hotel.
    • Become the trusted resource for meeting planners and event professionals.

    Own the Group Booking Process

    • Manage contracts, room blocks, reservations, and booking details.
    • Ensure a seamless transition between sales and operations.
    • Partner with Front Office, Housekeeping, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to deliver exceptional group experiences.

    Analyze and Optimize Performance

    • Monitor booking pace, market trends, and competitive opportunities.
    • Leverage data to maximize hotel occupancy and group room revenue.
    • Identify emerging business opportunities and market segments.
