Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Outlets, the Food and Beverage Manager wil oversee all food and beverage venues at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk, to include Moda Fare Food and Drink, Tejas Lounge, Spoonful Provisions, and the Pool Bar.

Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The position requires strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.

This is a temporary assignment expected to last between 6 and 8 weeks, starting as soon as August 16th and going until September 12th or longer if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience as F&B Management
• Hotel industry experience highly preferred
• Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
• Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
• Must be able to work any shift on any day, including weekends and holidays
• Must have continuous authorization to work in the U.S. Visa Sponsorship is not being offered for this role.
