Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with a smile and create an exceptional first impression
- Communicate wait times and provide updates to waiting guests
- Manage waitlists and reservations efficiently using OpenTable
- Coordinate seating to maximize flow and guest satisfaction
- Communicate smoothly with servers, managers, and kitchen staff
- Ensure all guests receive a server in a timely manner
- Answer phones and provide accurate wait times
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entrance area
- Assist guests and support front-of-house team during busy periods
What We’re Looking For
- Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous host or restaurant experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organized, composed, and reliable in a high-volume setting
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Comfortable standing and moving throughout entire shifts
