    Westward Route

    Hosts provide Radical Hospitality, tell the Mother Road story, and curate a memorable craft beer experience for guests while performing routine duties. Hosts oversee the safety of the Tap Room and protect Hospitality On 66's liquor license.

     

    Job Responsibilities

    Radical Hospitality

    • Find ways to go above and beyond our guests' expectations

    • Connect with guests by remembering their names, preferences, and stories

    • Create community with regulars and welcome new guests

    • Display exceptional conversation etiquette

    Craft Beer Experience

    • Apply Mother Road Beer knowledge to guest's palates and preferences

    • Basic draft maintenance and troubleshooting

    • Assist in beer quality by removing beer with quality issues and completing quality control forms

    Tap Room Safety

    • Monitor Tap Room speech and interactions for harassment and sexual violence

    • Use ASBA Safer Bars training to curtail and de-escalate situations of harassment and sexual violence as an active bystander per Mother Road's Sexual Violence policy guidelines

    • Deny access and service to intoxicated persons, safely removing intoxicated guests

    • H66 Employee and Guest Safety Protocol

    • General Tap Room SOPs, Opening and Closing Lists

    • Compliance with Arizona Title 4 Liquor Law, applicable Local and Federal Laws, and Coconino County Health Regulations.

    General Admin, Other

    • Monitors Basecamp and provides daily shift update

    • Attendance at monthly meeting, and other critical meetings as directed by Director of Hospitality

    • All other tasks as assigned by the MOD or Director of Hospitality

     

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Arizona Title 4 Basic Certification

    • Coconino County Food Handler's Card

    • ASBA Safer Bars Training

    • Cicerone Certified Beer Server

     

    Required Abilities

    • Able to maneuver 165lbs and team lift 165lbs

    • Lift up to 35lbs independently from floor, at waist level, and above waist

    • Able to stand for 10+ hours per day

    • Able to twist, crouch, bend, and stoop multiple times per day

    • Can understand and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and handle chemicals in a safe manner
