Job Summary:

As a Host/Hostess at our Troy locations, you will be responsible for providing a Gold Standard first and last impression to every guest while managing the restaurant's flow to ensure all seats remain occupied even during busy periods.

Responsibilities:

• Perform station opening/closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and maintenance of the Hospitality Desk and front entrance area.
• Greet and seat guests using appropriate techniques, with a warm and genuine smile, ensuring all guests receive a proper salutation.
• Manage seating and dining room quote times.
• Answer and direct calls with proper telephone etiquette.
• Conduct regular restroom checks.
• Communicate to management regarding quoted times, guest needs, special requests, large party requirements, and guest complaints.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and health and safety standards.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management staff.

Qualifications:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand the restaurant's Table Management system.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a team-oriented setting.
• Knowledge of principles for effectively interacting with the public.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
