As a host, you set the tone for the entire visit, and your ability to make guests feel welcomed, valued, and excited to be here is an essential part of what makes our restaurant special.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Make a great first impression. Welcome every guest with a genuine smile, a friendly greeting, and an inviting attitude from the moment they arrive.

• Be the face of hospitality. Make guests feel acknowledged and appreciated, answer questions, and help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout their visit.

• Keep the flow moving. Manage reservations, maintain the waitlist, communicate wait times, and coordinate seating to ensure an organized and efficient guest experience.

• Be the communication hub. Work closely with servers, bartenders, and management to balance sections, communicate guest needs, and keep the dining room running smoothly.

• Stay one step ahead. Anticipate guest needs, recognize opportunities to help, and keep an eye on the entrance and dining room so no guest feels overlooked.

• Own the details. Keep the host stand organized, menus clean, and entrance and waiting areas neat, polished, and inviting.

• Bring your personality. Engage with guests naturally, answer questions confidently, and help create the kind of atmosphere that makes people excited to return.

• Take initiative. Assist with resetting tables, organizing menus, supporting the serving team, and completing side work without waiting to be asked.

• Handle challenges with grace. Communicate wait times and seating delays professionally, respond to guest concerns with a positive attitude, and ask for assistance when needed.

• Be a team player. Support your teammates wherever needed and understand that creating an exceptional guest experience is a shared responsibility.

What We’re Looking For

• A friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine love for hospitality.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to make guests feel comfortable and welcome.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• A dependable, motivated individual who takes initiative and pays attention to the little things.

• A professional, calm, and positive attitude, even during busy shifts or unexpected challenges.

• The ability to work collaboratively with servers, bartenders, management, and fellow hosts.

• Confidence in handling reservations, waitlists, guest questions, and seating arrangements.

• Previous hosting, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn go a long way.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• The ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and assist with the physical duties of the role.
