Position Summary
 We're hiring warm, detail-oriented hosts to join our front-of-house team at Kindred Restaurant in Davidson, NC. This role is suited to someone who takes pride in warm first impressions, seamless pacing, and setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. We are looking for someone with a passion for people and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests, setting the tone for their dining experience
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins, keeping wait times and expectations clear
• Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries professionally
• Communicate table status and timing with servers and management throughout service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway
• Address guest questions, special requests, and concerns with professionalism
• Uphold the restaurant's standards for hospitality, presentation, and service at all times
• Support the front-of-house team during high-volume, fast-paced shifts
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous host or customer service experience preferred, not required
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: Competitive, based on experience. Starting at $19/hr.
