The Opportunity:

The Hospitality Services Clerk is responsible for various hospitality and office support duties, including maintaining all pantry areas and conference centers, liaison with IT and facilities to ensure proper conference room set-ups, manages food and beverage orders, practices adequate food storage, food safety, and adheres to sanitation guidelines.

The Day-To-Day:

On any given day, you will:

  • Perform all opening and closing side duties assigned, execute day-to-day meeting preparations within Conference Center as scheduled in the Event Management System.
  • Coordinate with Conference Center team, IT, Facilities, and Operations Supervisor to ensure timely setup, breakdown, and readiness of meeting spaces.  Be responsible for monitoring conference center schedule throughout the day for impromptu meetings.
  • Provide reception coverage during the receptionist’s lunch breaks, scheduled absences, and other times when front desk support is needed.
  • Ensure careful presentation of catering according to firm standards, including disposables, beverages, ice, and condiments. Perform some food preparation duties, as needed.
  • Clean and organize areas after all meetings and events disposing of trash as needed.
  • Inform the manager or Facilities team of any cleanliness or repair issues in the conference center.
  • Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and replenishe breakrooms twice daily with coffee, beverages, snacks, and established essentials.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen appliances by thoroughly cleaning microwaves and toasters weekly; keep a consistent monthly refrigerator clean-out schedule; perform bi-annual deep cleaning of ice machines and dishwashers, as needed; routinely wipe down countertops and stainless steel surfaces throughout the day.
  • Assist in pickup of food.
  • Assist Reception and Conference Center team with various duties and support, as needed.
  • Deliver proactive, high-quality customer service with strong follow-through.
  • Maintain office-appropriate attire and consistently demonstrate professional demeanor and conduct.
You Have:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well within a team setting that includes high school students is required.
  • Familiarity with general office equipment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and food contamination prevention is valuable.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Prior hospitality, food and beverage experience in a corporate or professional services environment a plus. 
  • Position hours are 8:30 AM–5:30 PM; however, the role requires flexibility to adjust schedules and work additional hours as needed to accommodate operational and business demands.
