    Job Title: Lodge Manager

    Reports To: Operations Manager

    Level: Hourly

    Schedule: 5 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, or as per business needs

    SCOPE

    Acts as the primary on-site manager and direct liaison to the client, with accountability for all aspects of the camp operation - purchasing, inventory control, personnel management, invoicing, facility maintenance, cost control, profitability, and menu preparation.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Accountable and responsible for maintaining a safety culture, following all SOPs, JSAs, and policies and procedures as set out by Target Hospitality.
    • Act as the primary on-site manager and direct liaison to the client.
    • Manage all aspects of the camp operation, including purchasing, inventory control, personnel management, invoicing, facility maintenance, cost control, profitability, and menu preparation.
    • Maintain working relationships with clients, employees, and upper management, holding to high professional standards throughout.
    • Conduct annual performance evaluations for site personnel.
    • Supervise and support the on-site team across all departments.
    • Apply cooking and baking skills to support menu preparation and food service delivery on site.
    • Exceed our guests' needs by providing world-class customer service.
    • Attend all safety meetings and participate in Target Hospitality emergency response procedures.
    • Other duties as requested.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Extended periods of sitting and computer use when performing administrative and reporting work.
    • Short- and long-distance walking required during daily lodge walkthroughs and inspections.
    • Use of stairs and step stools.
    • Occasionally lift an average weight of 25 lbs with a maximum of 50 lbs. Where weights may exceed 50 lbs, the assistance of another person or a lifting aid is mandatory.
    • Ability to work in a physically demanding, high-stress environment.
    • Ability to walk on uneven terrain and access all areas of the lodge, including kitchens, laundry areas, dormitories, and mechanical spaces.

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

    • Ability to hear and understand verbal instruction as well as other sounds such as safety alarms and signals.
    • Must be able to see without impairment for inspection purposes, and able to read small text such as product warning labels.
    • Exposure to extreme hot and cold environments during walkthroughs and outdoor inspections.
    • Ability to work rotating shifts of 5 weeks at the job site and 2 weeks at home, or as per business needs.
    • Lodge locations are often remote, with limited amenities and services nearby.
    • Ability to work safely and navigate within small, close quarters and congested areas.
    • May be exposed periodically to elevated noise and surroundings.
    • Must be available to respond to operational and emergency issues outside of standard working hours.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum high school diploma, with some college required.
    • Two years of baking and cooking experience.
    • Excellent cooking and baking skills.
    • Good organizational and supervisory skills.
    • Ability to conduct annual performance evaluations.
    • High professional standards, with good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, in English.
    • Ability to work rotating shifts of 5 weeks at the job site and 2 weeks at home.
    • Must be able to pass a background check and urinalysis.
