The Hospitality Director is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of world-class hospitality programs for leading brands across sports, entertainment, and cultural experiences. This role serves as a hospitality leader, overseeing the delivery of premium B2B and B2C guest experiences that drive client objectives, strengthen brand affinity, and create lasting relationships.

THE WORK YOU'LL DO
- Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams in the development and execution of premium hospitality programs across sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing platforms.
- Provide strategic oversight for multiple hospitality initiatives simultaneously, ensuring alignment with client objectives, agency standards, and best-in-class guest experience principles.
- Manage and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and hospitality excellence.
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive hospitality strategies, recommendations, and experience frameworks that support business goals and strengthen brand relationships.
- Oversee all aspects of hospitality program development and execution, including guest experience design, accommodations, transportation, credentialing, dining experiences, gifting, registration, logistics, and on-site operations.
- Serve as a senior leader throughout the event lifecycle, guiding teams through planning, execution, issue resolution, and post-event evaluation to ensure flawless delivery and exceptional service standards.
- Lead vendor and partner procurement efforts, including sourcing, vetting, contract negotiation, relationship management, and performance evaluation of hotels, venues, destination management companies, transportation providers, and other hospitality partners.
- Maintain executive-level oversight of budgets, forecasting, financial reconciliation, and program profitability while identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and enhanced guest experiences.
- Establish and implement management routines, processes, and communication frameworks that promote transparency, accountability, strategic thinking, and operational excellence across client and internal teams.
- Ensure quality control across all client-facing deliverables, including strategic recommendations, hospitality plans, presentations, budgets, event documentation, executive communications, and post-event recaps.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on hospitality strategy, guest engagement, service delivery, and industry best practices.
- Partner with senior leadership on new business opportunities, sponsorship activation strategies, hospitality audits, competitive reviews, thought leadership initiatives, and the development of innovative hospitality solutions.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying emerging hospitality trends, service innovations, and experiential best practices that elevate client programs and agency capabilities.
- Lead talent development efforts across the team, including coaching, performance management, career planning, and succession development.
- Travel domestically and internationally, as required, to oversee key client programs and ensure excellence in on-site execution, service delivery, and guest satisfaction.
- Support broader agency initiatives and special projects as needed, contributing to the continued growth and evolution of the hospitality practice.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A passion for hospitality, sports, entertainment & travel
- A passion for events/experiences, ranging from large-scale custom experiences to small-scale turnkey events
- 7-10-year(s) work experience in hospitality or experiential marketing and proven experience managing VIP and executive groups
- Experience working internationally or as part of a global team is a benefit, as too if you have first-hand experience working at a major event such as Olympics, FIFA World Cup etc. we'd love to hear from you
- Strong leadership presence, with the ability to communicate concisely, persuasively and effectively, across multiple mediums
- Think of yourself as a people leader who is invested in the success of the team first
- History of building positive relationships, both internally and externally - finding opportunities to make valuable contributions with every interaction
- Proactive, critical thinker who thrives when the pressure is on

- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Moderate (25-40%).
The base range for this position is $70,000 – $90,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
