You'll work directly with ownership and executive leadership to drive profitability, oversee financial operations, support capital initiatives, and influence key business decisions. Responsibilities

• 
  
• Lead all property-level accounting and finance operations, including AP, AR, Payroll, General Ledger, Income Audit, and Financial Reporting
• 
  
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and ensure accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP and USALI standards
• 
  
• Direct annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning initiatives
• 
  
• Analyze operational and financial performance, providing leadership with actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency
• 
  
• Partner with ownership and department leaders on strategic planning, capital projects, and business initiatives
• 
  
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and funding requirements for ongoing operations and capital investments
• 
  
• Establish, maintain, and enhance internal controls, financial policies, and risk management procedures
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, audit requirements, and industry best practices
• 
  
• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and financial advisors
• 
  
• Evaluate financial processes and implement improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities
• 
  
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• 
  
• Monitor key hospitality metrics including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor costs, and departmental profitability
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
• 
  
• Minimum 3 years of direct hotel accounting or hotel finance leadership experience
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting operations and the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI)
• 
  
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning
• 
  
• Proven success overseeing month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and internal controls
• 
  
• Previous experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Director of Finance, or similar hospitality finance leadership role
• 
  
• CPA designation preferred
• 
  
• Experience within luxury hotels, resorts, boutique hotels, or upscale lodging properties
• 
  
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and business partnering skills
• 
  
• Experience developing and leading high-performing accounting teams
• 
  
• Proficiency with hotel financial systems, property management systems, and reporting tools
