We\'re on the lookout for Hospitality Assistants to join our fantastic teams based on the beautiful West Coast.

21st August, 2026

Hotel: Scenic Hotel Franz Josef & Legacy Te Waonui Hotel Franz Josef & Heartland Hotel Fox Glacier.

Location: Franz Josef Glacier, West Coast

Employment Type: Fixed-Term, September 2026 - April 2027

Minimum Guaranteed Hours Available: 30 hours per week guaranteed

Rate per hour: $26.50

You'll have the option to work in one of the following roles, depending on your preference, availability and experience:

Food & Beverage:

• Take orders, serve food and drinks
• Keep service areas clean and organised

Housekeeping (Room Attendant):

• Clean and prepare guest rooms
• Ensure rooms are fresh, tidy and ready for new arrivals

Porter:

• Assist guests with luggage
• Share local tips and help guests settle in

Kitchen Assistant:

• Help with basic food preparation
• Keep the kitchen clean and running smoothly

Gardens & Grounds:

• Maintain outdoor areas
• Keep gardens looking tidy and welcoming

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• At least 1 year experience in similar environment desired
• Good communication to work with the team and guests.
