Job Description
Join a well-supported, physician-friendly hospitalist team at Hendrick Medical Center South, part of the respected, not-for-profit Hendrick Health System. This is a great opportunity for internal medicine physicians seeking a manageable census, strong staffing model, and meaningful clinical autonomy in a growing, community-focused setting.
Practice Highlights
- Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (7am - 7pm)
- 231-bed hospital with a 20-bed open ICU
- Average 12 - 15 patients per day
- 1 - 2 admissions daily
- Minimal ICU volume (0 - 1 admits/day)
Team-Based Model
- 5 daytime physicians
- Dedicated day APC + swing APC
- Nocturnist coverage overnight
Hospitalists play an active role in…
- ICU admissions
- Codes and rapid response
- Select bedside procedures (support and proctoring available)
Strong specialty support including cardiology, GI, neurology, pulmonology, ID general surgery, IR, OB/GYN, and more.
