    Join a collaborative Hospital Medicine team with a predictable nocturnist schedule and strong specialty support. USACS is seeking a Hospitalist Nocturnist Physician to join our team at Summa Health System – Barberton Campus in Barberton, Ohio.

    Practice Highlights

    • Daily Encounters: 90
    • Dedicated 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. nocturnist schedule
    • Flexible scheduling
    • Hospitalist team includes 4–5 Physicians and 1 APP daily, plus a swing-shift APP and dedicated Nocturnist
    • Seven-on/seven-off scheduling model
    • Strong specialty backup with responsive support across services
    • Major trauma and severe pediatric cases are transferred, with Akron Children’s Hospital nearby for additional support

    What Your Practice Will Look Like

    You’ll serve as the dedicated overnight Hospitalist within a well-established team supported by daytime Physicians and APP coverage and an evening swing-shift APP. The collaborative model and responsive specialty backup provide strong clinical support while the 12-hour nocturnist schedule offers predictability and flexibility.

    Summa Health System – Barberton Campus is a full-service community hospital located in the southern suburban Akron area. The modern facility is well-equipped and has undergone recent renovations, including a newly renovated Emergency Department.
