What Youll Do- Provide pediatric inpatient care for newborns and high-risk deliveries in a Level 1 nursery setting
- Stabilize and resuscitate critically ill newborns in high-acuity cases
- Respond to ER consults and collaborate with hospital staff on patient care
- Cover multiple consecutive 24-hour shifts, maintaining availability for urgent care needs
- Ensure timely response within 20 minutes while on call
- Utilize Epic EMR with templates and order sets for documentation
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including obstetrics, anesthesia, and nursing staff
What You Need- NY State Medical License (Active and in-hand)
- Board Certified Pediatrician
- Current BLS, PALS, NRP certifications
- Epic EMR experience
- Ability to respond within 20 minutes during on-call shifts
- Strong resuscitation and stabilization skills for neonatal emergencies
Preferred- Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation techniques
- Ability to return to hospital promptly when called upon
