Pay & Benefits- Hourly Pay Rate: $253.50

What You’ll Do- Oversee all labor and delivery activities, including performing cesarean sections and vaginal births
- Conduct morning rounds on obstetric and gynecological patients
- Manage high-risk pregnancies such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and fetal anomalies
- Perform GYN procedures including surgeries, ultrasounds, IUD insertions/removals, and Pap smears
- Provide immediate care for OB/GYN emergencies with support from on-site team and 24/7 consults (MFM, GYN ONC, NICU)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising residents, medical students, CNMs, and other healthcare professionals
- Act as a primary provider for obstetric cases and manage postpartum care
What You Need- Active Wisconsin medical license or IMLC accepted
- Board Certification or eligibility (within 2 years) in OB/GYN
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- DEA license
- 1-3 years of obstetrics and gynecology experience preferred
- Strong skills in high-risk obstetrics, emergency procedures, and team communication
About the AssignmentThis is a full-time, hospital-based obstetrics role in Madison, Wisconsin, within a regional trauma and transfer center serving rural hospitals. The position involves managing a busy obstetric service with approximately 3-5 deliveries daily, including complex high-risk cases. You will work alongside a dedicated, collegial team supported by experienced nursing and ancillary staff, with a focus on providing quality patient care in a structured and collaborative environment.
