Job Summary:
Community Service Work Study is a program for students eligible for Federal Work Study to earn their award performing work in healthcare, non-profit, and public school settings in the St. Louis-area that are open to the public and do not charge an admission fee/tuition. Both the organizations and the students benefit by community service and building career-related skills.
Community Service opportunities are currently available in hospital settings at St. Luke's Hospital and
Mercy Hospital. Health Profession majors are preferred, but this opportunity is open to students in all majors. Specific duties depend on the location and job type and can range from general cleaning to transporting patients to working in the gift shop.
