Job Summary:

Care New England is seeking a full time inpatient Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our Hospitalist team at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island. You will evaluate, assess, and coordinate the admission of patients to the hospital while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams.

 

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Join our team of 28+ physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Primary focus will be admissions with an avg of 6-8 admissions per shift
  • Work schedule: Thirteen, 10 hour shifts a month (10:00 p.m. to 8 :00 a.m.)
  • Support from onsite hospitalists and residents w/ closed ICU
  • Epic EMR utilized systemwide

Requirements:
  • Clinical experience preferred in hospital medicine or emergency medicine, but new grads are encourage to apply
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Certified 
  • Active Rhode Island PA or APRN, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
