    Who we are

    Port Cities Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our leadership team as a Hospital Manager. The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional client service, outstanding veterinary care, and a positive work environment for our team. In partnership with the Chief of Staff, the Hospital Manager plays a key role in driving the productivity, profitability, and growth of the hospital while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, leadership development, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Providing operational oversight of the hospital and daily workflow
    • Leading and developing our technician and client service teams
    • Managing financial performance, budgets, payroll, inventory, and key performance indicators
    • Supporting business development and hospital growth initiatives
    • Monitoring client satisfaction and implementing strategies to strengthen client loyalty
    • Training and coaching team members to deliver exceptional client service
    • Collaborating with doctors and department leaders to support quality patient care and operational excellence
    • Recruiting, onboarding, developing, and retaining top talent
    • Facility maintenance

    Qualifications We are seeking a leader who combines strong business acumen with hands-on veterinary technical experience. Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credentials preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years of veterinary technical experience, including:
    • Supporting veterinarians during patient examinations
    • Performing and overseeing laboratory services
    • Assisting with vaccinations and preventive care
    • Taking and reviewing radiographs (X-rays)
    • Supporting surgical procedures
    • Assisting with dentistry and dental radiography
    • Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and execute efficiently
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
    • Experience managing revenue, payroll, inventory, and operational budgets
    • Ability to build and maintain a positive, collaborative team culture
