Full Time Lead CT Technologist | North of Austin, TX
Connected Health Care is partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Austin, TX, to recruit an experienced Lead CT Technologist. This is a working supervisor role with an approximately 50/50 clinical and administrative workload, ideal for a CT Tech ready to take the next step in their career.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise radiologic technologists, support staff, and daily imaging operations.
- Coordinate staffing, workflow, patient volume, and CT room utilization.
- Provide clinical guidance on CT protocols, positioning, image quality, and patient care.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety, ALARA principles, and regulatory standards.
- Assist with onboarding, training, competency assessments, and team development.
- Support performance reviews, coaching, and employee development.
- Collaborate with radiologists, leadership, and other departments.
- Participate in quality improvement, image audits, and repeat analysis.
- Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate preventative maintenance.
- Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, inventory, and other administrative duties.
- Perform CT procedures and other duties as assigned.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography required.
- ARRT CT certification preferred.
- Current Texas MRT license required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
