    Description

    Reports to: Revenue Cycle Director

    FLSA Classification: Full-time, Non-exempt, Hourly $15.75-$17.93

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Warmly greet and acknowledge all patients, visitors, and guests entering the hospital.
    • Provide courteous, professional, and compassionate customer service.
    • Assist patients and visitors in navigating the hospital and direct them to the appropriate department, clinic, registration area, or service.
    • Answer basic questions and provide general information about hospital locations and services within the scope of the position.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming appearance in the main entryway, lobby, and designated waiting areas.
    • Clean and disinfect designated high-touch surfaces at least every two hours and more frequently as needed, following hospital infection-prevention and cleaning procedures.
    • Monitor entry and waiting areas throughout the shift and address minor housekeeping needs as appropriate.
    • Turn on and monitor the lobby fireplace during designated winter months, following hospital safety procedures and established guidelines.
    • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors while being attentive to individuals who may need additional assistance.
    • Escalate patient, visitor, facility, safety, security, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
    • Notify the supervisor of spills, hazards, maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or other conditions that may create a safety risk.
    • Maintain confidentiality and protect patient privacy in accordance with hospital policies and applicable requirements.
    • Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including infection prevention, safety, emergency response, and customer-service standards.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department leadership.

    Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
