Join our Doylestown Home Hospice team as a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN). This position requires a minimum commitment of 16 hours per month, including one weekend per month. Candidates must have prior hospice nursing experience and be able to provide care within a 20-mile radius of Doylestown Hospital. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care in the comfort of patients\' homes.
Summary:
Our Home Hospice team is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care that allows individuals to remain in the comfort and dignity of their own homes. We support patients whose curative treatments are no longer effective or who have chosen to focus on comfort and quality of life. Using a multidisciplinary approach, our hospice professionals develop personalized care plans that address each patient\'s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Team members may include registered nurses, certified home health aides, social workers, chaplains, and bereavement counselors who work together to provide comprehensive support for both patients and their families. Services include symptom and pain management, care coordination, emotional and spiritual support, caregiver education, medical equipment and medication management, and bereavement services. Our goal is to enhance comfort, reduce stress, and help patients and their loved ones navigate this important stage of life with dignity, respect, and compassionate care.
Position Description:
Qualifications:Clinical Nurse-NCL (Non Clinical Ladder) track: requirements: • Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing• 15+ months of relevant professional nursing experience• Pennsylvania (or New Jersey) RN licensure (depending on hire location)• BLS/CPR as a healthcare provider, as per the American Heart Association• Have a car, valid driver's license, and car insurance
