About the Role:Next Generation Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Palliative Care Caregiver to join our team in Anaheim, CA. Responsibilities:- Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for hospice and palliative care patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition, comfort levels, and vital signs to the care team
- Administer comfort-focused care in alignment with individualized hospice care plans
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families throughout the end-of-life journey
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders as directed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary hospice care teams including nurses, social workers, and chaplains
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
Requirements:- Previous experience in hospice, palliative care, or a related caregiving role preferred
- Current CNA, HHA, or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong understanding of end-of-life care, comfort care, and patient dignity principles
- Compassionate, patient, and emotionally resilient demeanor
- Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills with family.
