Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the hospice program and referral sources, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, independent living centers, hospitals, physicians, and community organizations.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and outreach initiatives to increase referrals and grow the client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, social workers, and discharge planners to educate on hospice offerings and create new business opportunities.
- Represent the hospice program at community events, religious organizations, and relevant educational forums to raise awareness.
- Manage sales pipelines and activities through CRM systems and provide regular progress reports.
- Track and achieve referral and admission goals, providing exceptional customer service throughout the admissions process.
- Collaborate with internal clinical and operational teams to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in healthcare sales, business development, or a related field—experience in hospice, home health, or post-acute care is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop productive relationships with a range of healthcare and community partners.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding referral/admissions goals in a sales-focused healthcare environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as required.
