As a Hospice Clinical Manager with Wellspring Lutheran Services, you will play a vital leadership role in creating that experience. You will support a team of compassionate clinicians, oversee the quality of care provided to patients and families, and help ensure that every person entrusted to our care receives the comfort, respect, and dignity they deserve. Your leadership will help clinicians do their best work while creating an environment where patients and families feel supported, valued, and understood.

What Your Impact Will Look Like
In this role, you will provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of hospice clinical services, ensuring patients receive high-quality, individualized care while supporting the professionals who deliver it. You will work closely with nurses, social workers, physicians, nutritionists, agency partners, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care that reflects each patient's unique needs, goals, and preferences.
You will serve as a mentor, coach, and resource for clinical staff, helping them grow professionally while ensuring they have the support needed to provide compassionate care in the field. Through training visits, case conferences, clinical education, and collaborative problem-solving, you will help strengthen both clinical excellence and employee engagement.
A large part of your role will focus on ensuring quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will help monitor patient outcomes, patient and family satisfaction, incident reporting, regulatory compliance, and clinical documentation standards to ensure care consistently meets federal and state requirements as well as professional standards of practice.
You will also remain connected to patient care, providing admissions, supporting clinical visits when needed, and helping the team respond to both routine and emergent situations. This connection allows you to maintain a deep understanding of patient needs while leading with compassion and credibility.
