    Job Description

    Position Description:
    The Automobile Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cars and light trucks. The candidate provides mechanical support for the automobile dealership. They must provide their tools and be knowledgeable in electrical and diagnostic equipment.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Identify and resolve parts required for repair; review repair orders; follow warranty guidelines; notify supervisor of any repair add-ons.
    • Road test vehicles when necessary to ensure a quality repair.
    • Maintain current knowledge of the job and technical skills including manufacturer’s repair process.
    • Perform work as outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy by dealership and factory standards.
    • Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 1-year experience.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
    • Pass a drug test and background check.
