Genesa Home Care & Companionship Agency is seeking candidates with at least 1 year of experience in scheduling, client intake, and case management. Candidates must have the ability to match caregivers with clients, manage high-volume calls, and maintain compliance with healthcare documentation. Candidates must be empathetic communicators focused on delivering high-quality patient care and reliable office operations. Our ideal candidate is calm and has professional demeanor. Desirable candidates must be willing to work in an office that is open 7 days/week and to rotate coverage for daytime, evening, and weekend work hours (if needed).
Core Skills
- Care Planning: care pan coordination, assess client needs, develop individualized care plans, and update goals as health status changes.
- Scheduling: Match field caregivers with clients based on skill, availability, and preferences; manage shift coverage.
- Client Scheduling & Roster Management
- Coordinate scheduling of Agency staff and continuing education.
- Ensure accuracy of staff schedules for the purpose of client billing and payroll.
- Communication: Function as the main contact for clients, families, and doctors to address service questions or changes. The candidate must demonstrate compassion and integrity.

- Compliance: Keep client records accurate and up to date in line with state rules and agency policies.
- Manage confidential information with an elevated level of professionalism, discretion, and tact.
- Exceptionally strong organizational skills, inventory management, attention to detail, problem-solving, and cross-functional influential skills
- HIPAA Compliance & Documentation
- Help clients navigate and submit insurance reimbursement claims for Long Term Care companies
- Computer Skills, Candidate can demonstrate proficiency in Google Drive, social media, Canva, Word, and other word processing applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse audiences such as clients, caregivers, family members, and insurance companies
- Prior experience in a Home Care role
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, social work, nursing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in home care, case management, or scheduling.
