Homebound Instructor

EMPLOYMENT DATES: Immediately-Duration Based on Need

HOURS: 3:15-4:15 p.m., Monday-Friday

RATE OF PAY: $30 Per Hour

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide one-on-one instructional support for a student receiving homebound services by assisting with the completion of assigned schoolwork. Instruction will occur at an approved public location in Alexandria.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Indiana teaching license required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet individually with the student to support completion of class work.
  • Plan and prepare for instructional sessions.
  • Communicate regularly with family regarding student progress.
  • Provide progress updates to the Director of Exceptional Learners.
  • Follow the student's IEP.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and confidentiality.
