Summary The Home Visitor provides in-home (or at a neutral site) home visiting services to families with children ages prenatal to three. Primary focus is supporting families with child development information, healthy pregnancy information, parenting skill development, developmental screening, resource and referral, and case management, including reducing barriers to accessing community services. The Home Visitor may also assist in facilitating parenting groups and group family activities. The position requires travel around Butte County. Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in an applicable field and previous experience in an early learning environment, early childhood education, case management, work with families having young children ages 0-5, or home visiting with families having young children ages 0-5. The base pay for the Home Visitor position is $23.35 to $25.71 an hour, additional individual compensation may be available.
