Organization:

SCAH-Sutter Care at Home- Bay

Position Overview:

Ideal candidate will have prior experience and knowledge of standard to complex medical equipment, oxygen, compressed air, electrical testing devices, and mechanical device repair.

Inspects, calibrates, repairs, installs, and maintains complex medical equipment and instrumentation used in home medical equipment services. Delivers medical equipment to clients in an outpatient setting, instructs and educates caregivers on the use of equipment. Integrates technical competence and customer service skills to gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, healthcare providers, and peers. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure the privacy and safety of the patients serves and to help deliver optimal patient care.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:

  • HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Licensure and Certification

  • Department SCAH Timberlake: DL-Valid Driver's License

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Prior experience and knowledge of working with standard to complex medical equipment, oxygen, compressed air, electrical testing devices, and mechanical device repair.
  • Possess outstanding written and verbal communications skills to communicate with fellow team members, supervisors, patients, and other hospital personnel.
  • Time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized procedures and processes to achieve objectives and meet deadline.
  • Prioritize and delegate assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve department objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Work autonomously, as well as be part of the team, accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
  • Identify, evaluate and resolve typical to complex problems that arise with little or no precedent.
  • Build collaborative relationships with peers and other staff members to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.

Pay Range is $29.33 to $41.06 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
