Home Infusion Registered Nurse- RN

Monitor patients, recognize and report abnormal findings or adverse reactions, and follow infection prevention and safety protocols. Responsibilities: Provide in-home infusion therapy and administer specialty medications, including IV push and continuous infusions.

NURSECORE is seeking a Home Infusion RN to provide home-based infusion care based on patient needs.Pay varies based on patient assignment and contract terms:

• $70-$100 per visit for standard 1-hour infusion visits
• $45/hour for infusion therapies lasting more than 1 hour
• Typically 5-10 assignments per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home infusion therapy and administer specialty medications, including IV push and continuous infusions.
• Manage vascular access, including PIVs, PICCs, Midlines, CVADs, and implanted ports. 
• Perform flushing/locking, dressing changes, and phlebotomy/lab draws.
• Administer subcutaneous injections.
• Monitor patients, recognize and report abnormal findings or adverse reactions, and follow infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Monitor labs and provide PICC dressing changes for TPN clients.
• Teach patients to recognize signs and symptoms of adverse reactions and when to call MD/911
• Follow physician orders and the Plan of Care, coordinate with the clinical team, and complete accurate, timely documentation.

Requirements:

• Active Nevada RN license
• At least 12 months of recent infusion nursing experience, including the therapies and procedures described above.
• Recent hands-on competency in infusion therapy and vascular access
• Comfortable working independently in the home setting
• Current hands-on CPR certification
• Negative TB result within the past 12 months
• Successful completion of background check
