IJN Health Systems is a Skilled Home Health Agency in Chadds Ford, PA, looking for an individual to join our strong team of compassionate caregivers and provide billing, Coding, collections, and claim posting services.  Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is punctual, dependable, and attentive to the patient. 



Job Description

Our Home Health Agency is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to work in our financial department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and the skills necessary to improve our current billing procedures and reduce A/R days. We offer competitive compensation.

  • Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion
  • Implement, maintain, and report on programs initiated by the practice
  • Submit billing data to insurance providers
  • Collections
  • Will be familiar with HCFA -CMS-1500 and UB04
  • CMS or Medicare Billing
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly processing of electronic and paper claims for assigned payers.
  • Understand and adhere to payer requirements for claim submission, including attaching all necessary documentation to process claims.
  • Ensure that all electronic submissions are accepted at the payor level and that rejections are corrected within the established timeframe.
  • Work claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided 
  • Enhanced knowledge of HIPAA privacy guidelines as well as maintaining and protecting all confidential information.
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities on various projects f and reports or the highest rate of returns.
  • Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare/Medicaid, and Medicare/Medicaid HMOs / Medicare Advantage Plans.
  • Understanding of A/R project procedures and processes, and the follow-up required to drive collections
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • 3-5 + years experience as a Medical Biller
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Excel, Word, AR Report
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
