with your resume and a brief overview of your RN experience, home health background, and interest in providing nursing visits throughout Mankato and Southern Minnesota.Great Nursing Shouldn't Depend on a Patient's ZIP Code.
For patients living outside the immediate Twin Cities, getting the right healthcare isn't always as simple as driving a few minutes down the road.
A follow-up appointment can mean significant travel.
A patient recovering from surgery may have limited transportation.
An older adult managing a chronic condition may rely heavily on family members.
And someone recently discharged from the hospital may be trying to manage medications, treatments, and recovery without a nurse anywhere nearby.
That's where a great Home Health Visit Nurse becomes incredibly important.
Home Health Care, Inc. is looking for a Full-Time RN Visit Nurse to provide skilled nursing care throughout Mankato and surrounding Southern Minnesota communities.
Your patients need care.
You bring it to them.
Your Visit Can Be What Keeps Someone Home.
Home health nursing puts you in a unique position.
You're not seeing the patient for a few minutes in a clinic.
You're seeing how they're actually managing at home.
Is the medication list accurate?
Is the wound healing?
Does the patient understand the discharge instructions?
Can the caregiver safely help with the treatment plan?
Has something changed since the patient left the hospital?
Is there an issue that could turn into an emergency if nobody catches it today?
You get to see the whole picture.
And then you get to use your nursing judgment to do something about it.
Take Your Nursing Skills Into the Community
You'll provide skilled nursing visits throughout Mankato, St. Peter, Le Sueur, New Prague, and surrounding Southern Minnesota communities, with additional patients across areas such as Le Center, Montgomery, Janesville, Elko New Market, and nearby communities based on patient needs.
Your workday takes you directly to the people who need your expertise.
One home. One patient. One visit at a time.
What You'll Be Doing
Home Health Needs Nurses Who Can Think for Themselves.
When you're standing in a patient's living room, there isn't always another RN ten feet away.
You assess.
You ask questions.
You notice what's changed.
You determine what needs attention.
And you communicate with the rest of the care team when something needs to happen.
That's why Visit Nursing can be such a great fit for an experienced RN who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, patient education, and clinical decision-making.
You have independence.
But you aren't on your own.
Our clinical team is behind you when you need it.
Why Join Home Health Care, Inc.?
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a nurse who is comfortable being both independent and accountable.
You'll need:
Previous home health experience is certainly valuable, but it isn't the only background that can prepare you for this position.
If you're an experienced RN who enjoys working independently and wants to bring your skills directly into the community, we'd like to meet you.
Some of the Patients Who Need You Most Aren't Down the Hall.
They're down the road.
Across town.
In the next community.
At home recovering from surgery.
Learning to manage a new diagnosis.
Trying to avoid another hospitalization.
Or simply working toward becoming independent again.
Your visit brings skilled nursing directly to their front door.
That's the difference you can make in home health.
