Job Description:
Manages all processes related to regulatory and accreditation requirements, including The Joint Commission and CMS. Serves as the primary contact for The Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory partners. Collaborates with senior leadership to prepare presentations for various meetings. Acts as an internal consultant to medical staff, administration, and departments regarding compliance opportunities. Analyzes and interprets accreditation and regulatory opportunities to improve and sustain best practices. Manages regulatory websites to complete applications, surveys, and follow-up activities. Performs annual regulatory assessments and collaborates with stakeholders to facilitate improvements. Provides orientation and ongoing education on accreditation and regulatory requirements. Develops and implements plans for ongoing survey readiness in collaboration with quality staff and leadership. Supports clinical performance improvement initiatives and corporate clinical accountabilities. Serves as a liaison to hospital departments for ongoing accreditation and regulatory support. Manages and facilitates regulatory and accreditation committees and meetings. Performs other duties as assigned.
