Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Malden-Melrose-Saugus Territory

Help patients rebuild strength, improve mobility, and regain confidence without rushing from one treatment room to another.

As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll deliver personalized therapy in each patient's home under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. You'll have the opportunity to focus on one patient at a time, develop meaningful relationships, and see how your care improves everyday life.

What Your Day May Include

  • Providing treatments outlined in the Physical Therapist's Plan of Care

  • Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities

  • Helping patients improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and endurance

  • Teaching patients and caregivers how to safely continue exercises at home

  • Demonstrating the proper use of walkers, canes, wheelchairs, prosthetics, orthotics, and other assist

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current, unrestricted PTA license in Massachusetts
  • At least six months of PTA experience preferred
  • Home health experience is a plus
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
  • Ability to travel throughout Easton and the surrounding coverage area
  • Sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently and be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
