BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate and experienced
Pediatric Skilled Nursing Visit (SNV) Nurses and
Nurse Assistants to join our growing team! If you’re passionate about providing high-quality care to children in a home health setting, we’d love to hear from you.
Position Overview
Provide skilled nursing visits and supportive care to pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes. This role focuses on individualized care, health monitoring, and family education.
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Perform pediatric assessments and document patient progress
- Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as needed
- Educate families on care plans and health management
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with clinical team to ensure quality patient outcomes
Requirements – Nurse (RN/LVN)
- Active RN or LVN license in the state of Texas
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- Reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification (not provided by BrightStar Care)
- Must pass TB test (paid by BrightStar Care)
Requirements – Nurse Assistant (CNA)
- Active CNA certification
- Experience with pediatric or home health patients preferred
- Ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate care
- Reliable and dependable
