- New Hire Bonus: Earn a total of $600, paid in three increments:
- $200 after 3 months
- $200 after 6 months
- $200 after 9 months
- To be eligible, employees must maintain an average of 32 or more hours per week. Hours completed during initial onboarding and orientation do not count toward bonus eligibility.
Bonus payments are subject to continued employment and eligibility requirements at each milestone.
Job SummaryWe are looking for residents' assistants to join our team! You will directly work with residents, following a one-on-one care plan at our assisted living home. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.
Responsibilities - Assist residents with activities of daily living such as preparing meals, showers, moving in and out of beds,
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
- Maintain records of resident care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
- Build relationships with residents by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Maintain a clean and neat environment of the home.
- Follow policies and procedures as set by the Department of Health and Human Services.
- Provide transportation for residents as needed.
- Give medications as prescribed by health care professionals and submit provide accurate documentation on a timely manner.
- Engage residents in exercises or other activities
- Be computer literate.
Qualifications- Undergraduate, or associate degree is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED
- One-year prior professional experience
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Driver’s license required
- CPR and First Aid certification required, and TB testing during hiring.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
