Position Overview:

The Home Health Aide provides compassionate, high-quality in-home care to clients while assisting with personal care and activities of daily living. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and companionship. The role also involves monitoring clients’ well-being, reporting changes in condition to the supervising nurse or care team, following care plans and professional instructions, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment. Home Health Aides build trusting relationships with clients and their families while providing safe, reliable, and personalized care.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, New York. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help with toileting and other activities of daily living.
• Assist clients with walking, transfers, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance when needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition.
• Follow the client’s care plan and instructions from healthcare professionals.
• Respect the client’s privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Provide dependable, compassionate, and professional care.

Requirements:

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
• Must have open availability, including days, nights, and weekends
• Compassion and patience when caring for clients.
• Ability to assist with personal hygiene and daily activities.
• Ability to provide safe mobility and transfer assistance.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Must have all required documents for registration.
• Must have a completed physical exam and required lab work.
• Must be reliable, responsible, compassionate, and professional.

Pay Range: USD $19.86 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
