Position Details
- Facility: BayCare Health System Private Duty
- Location: Pinellas County
- Status: Full Time hourly
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Weekend Work: Every 3rd weekend
- On Call: No

Home Health Aide Key Responsibilities
As part of the patient care team, works under the guidance and supervision of the staff nurse in providing personal care to the patients.
- Follows the patients plan of care for completion of tasks assigned to a home health aide by the registered nurse or other appropriate skilled professional.
- Maintains an open communication process with the patient, representative, if any, caregivers, and family.
- Demonstrates competency with assigned tasks.
- Complies with infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
- Reports changes in the patients condition.
- Honors patient rights.
Required Certifications and Licensures
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA certification from accredited 75-hour program.
- Drivers License: State of Florida. Florida drivers license is required within 30 days of hire.
Education
- Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Preferred: 1 year Home Care.
